The best gifts are those given from the heart and there is no shortage of opportunities awaiting you this holiday season. The 2024 Patrick County Christmas Cheer campaign is gearing up and we will soon be seeking individuals and organizations to bring smiles to children’s faces and restore hope to families in need.  Last year the program received requests from over 125 families, seeking assistance for more than 300 children within our county and we are predicting the need will be the same or even more.

The goal of Christmas Cheer is to provide warm clothing and a few age appropriate toys for our community’s families in need.  We will have tags with children’s wish list items and sizes ready for pick up at county businesses (annouced in Oct or Nov). Individuals and organizations can stop into these area business and select their child or can email michelle@thinklegacy.org.   

Those not interested in shopping for a child may make monetary donations by doing so HERE or mailing your donation to PO Box 222, Stuart, VA 24171; please make your check payable to Patrick County Christmas Cheer.  You may also add toys, clothing, and food to donation boxes found at area retailers & organizations. These will be announced closer to the holiday season.

Think about grabbing a group of friends, your Sunday-School class or your family and pick a tag of a local child to make their holiday bright. Your generous support is the reason for the season and will help a neighbor in need.
